My beautiful cousin Becky got married in August 2015 to Dan and I had to share some picture-perfect memories from their special day. Luckily the sun shone down on us and it was a scorcher!
As one of her bridesmaids I spent the morning with the bride getting ready. It really is crazy how quickly the time flies! We had a leisurely start and got our hair and make-up done at the house whilst the boys went out for breakfast.
Before long it was time to get dressed and Becky looked stunning in her Allure Couture gown – we had navy blue dresses from Coast and Monsoon I loved the halter-neck style of mine. Becky married Dan at the local church, All Saints, in Banstead, Surrey. It was a beautiful day and it was so lovely to see all family and friends together to celebrate.
Becky put flowers in watering cans to decorate the venue, a beautiful marquee in Zinnia Gardens. This looked amazing and could be recreated with other items too – they also used a wheelbarrow at the entrance filled with blooms and a sign which was really fun and added an effortless but stylish vibe. The table plan was on a giant frame with each table named after a place Becky and Dan had visited together. There was also a post box, polaroid camera, sweetie table and fingerprint tree to entertain the guests – and the food was a fantastic barbeque buffet from Scotts of Carshalton who made an amazing stacked cheese cake for the newlyweds too!
We danced late into the night (luckily flip flops were provided) and it was a great wedding to be a part of – congratulations Becky and Dan!
Becky and Dan hired Everlasting Moments Photography to take all the pictures of their special day. Sam was a fantastically professional photographer and I’m sure you’ll agree the pictures are stunning. Feel free to take a look at his website to see other weddings he has photographed.
